SCAC is pleased to offer a Growth Implications for South Carolina Counties Webinar. This is the second webinar in a two-part continuing education series for planning and zoning officials and employees. During this virtual session, presenters will discuss how growth in neighboring counties impacts infrastructure, service delivery, and other key factors. Topics such as rural broadband, the importance of zoning in site selection for new industries, and the S.C. Department of Commerce’s work with rural counties will also be discussed. Participants will also learn how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the 2020 Census timelines.
